Dr. Aly Kassam−Remtulla is Associate Provost for International Affairs and Operations at Princeton University. As the institution's senior international affairs officer, he leads the development and administration of partnerships, policies, and programs that advance the international scope of Princeton's teaching, research, and service mission. He has deep experience in strategic planning, faculty engagement, fiscal stewardship, personnel and operations management, and fundraising. Aly also serves as co-chair of the Faculty Advancement Network, a national consortium focused on advancing diversity in the professoriate. Earlier in his career, he worked in philanthropy and and the non-profit sector. Aly serves as a trustee of Allegheny College, Mpala Research Centre in Kenya, and the United World College-USA. Born in Kenya and raised in Canada, he is a graduate of Stanford and Oxford where he studied as a Rhodes Scholar.
