Ameet Doshi joined Princeton University Library as Head of the Donald E. Stokes Library in 2021. He holds a Masters in Public Administration (MPA) from the University of North Carolina, Wilmington and a Masters in Library and Information Science (MLIS) from the University of Tennessee. He is currently completing his PhD in Public Policy at the Georgia Institute of Technology where his dissertation applies natural language processing to understand how non-scientists use open access research. Ameet has served on the American Library Association's Center for the Future of Libraries advisory board, and is a reviewer for the Journal of Learning Spaces and Performance Measurement and Metrics.
Ameet collaborates with Stokes Library colleagues to support the School of Public and International Affairs (SPIA), the Office of Population Research, and Princeton students, faculty and researchers exploring policy-related topics. His research interests include computational social science, bibliometrics, and science and technology policy.
