I am an Assistant Professor in the School of Physical Therapy Program at Kean University and a post-doctoral fellow at Johns Hopkins University and Medicine. I hold an advanced clinical certification as a Board-Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. My clinical practice and research agenda focuses on orthopedic/musculoskeletal physical therapy, chronic pain, quantitative sensory tests, as well as health outcomes and rehabilitation research. My academic content expertise is in the areas of Biomechanics and Kinesiology and Musculoskeletal Physical Therapy, including Research and Evidence Based Practice. I am a recipient of the 2021 Learning Health System Scholar award for Johns Hopkins Medicine/Johns Hopkins University, where my research is supported and federally funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH). I have a productive scholarship which includes publications in various peer-reviewed medical and rehabilitation journals, and poster and platform presentations in various national and international professional conferences.
