Claude Richardson is Delta Dental of New Jersey (DDNJ)’s Senior Vice President of Human Resources. He is responsible for developing and providing human resources strategy and support for over 250 employees. Succession planning, talent management, change management, labor relations, organizational and performance management, training and development, and compensation are the key areas he will be offering guidance.
Claude joined DDNJ in 2020 and brings over 20 years of experience holding various leadership positions for global companies, including Scholastic Corporation, Ametek, Lockheed Martin, Johnson & Johnson, and Citigroup.
A decorated military veteran and officer in the United States Marine Corps, Claude received his Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the US Naval Academy and his Executive Master’s in Human Resources Leadership from Rutgers University. He is the recipient of the prestigious Navy Commendation Medal.
Claude serves on the African American Chamber of Commerce New Jersey board, sits on NJBIA’s Diversity Council, and is the Executive Sponsor and lead of DDNJ’s Diversity Council.
