My name is Dr. Daniel Chung and I am a Licensed Clinical & Sport Psychologist. I have worked in various settings including private practice and most recently with NCAA Division I college athletes within the Big Ten Conference. I am currently one of only a handful of Asian-American or Asian-identified sport psychology providers in the country. I have previously served as the community-based counselor for the Asian-American Cultural Center at Rutgers University-New Brunswick. My areas of expertise include clinical psychology, sport psychology, forensic psychology, cross-cultural psychology, diversity and inclusion, anger management, emotional intelligence, personality assessment, mental skills, performance enhancement, concussion management, crisis intervention, and organizational behavior. I am the first in my family to attend and graduate college, having earned my bachelor's, master's, and doctorate degrees. I grew up in a culturally diverse neighborhood in Northern NJ with friends from all walks of life and greatly valued learning about and appreciating different cultures and backgrounds. This is something I hold near to my heart everyday. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, meditating, practicing yoga, watching sports, golfing, hiking, and running.
