Expertise in writing, literature, book banning, Civil Rights, American history related to Black U.S. and free people of color pre-Civil War. Trustee PEN America, former board member The Writers Room. New Orleans native, Indian grandfather and Black Creole heritage. Retired after starting the Communication program at Saint Peter's 28 years ago.
