I am an assistant professor of Biology. My research is focused on understanding the defense responses of plants against insect herbivores. I utilize a systems biology approach that combines genomics, transcriptomics and Metabolomics techniques to identify novel molecular regulators of plant defenses and describe their functions. I am very passionate about interacting with and educating the next generation of scientists.
