Waheeda Lillevik is an associate professor in the School of Business at the The College of New Jersey (TCNJ). Her research and expertise lies mainly in human resources management (particularly selection and competencies), diversity & inclusion (DEI) in organizations, inclusive leadership, cross-cultural management, cultural learning and acculturation, and international human resource management. She is the current advisor for TCNJ's professional SHRM chapter. In addition to her work at TCNJ, she has worked in Canada, the UK and Germany, working and educating professionals at a variety of levels. She is familiar with HR practices in Canada, UK & US, and has developed/taught courses used for SHRM, CHRP & CIPD accreditations. She is highly knowledgeable on Inclusion (DEI) management, intercultural management, interviewing/selection, and training and development, incorporating a systems approach to effective human resources management, culture change, and equitable/equal access in organizations. She has been featured as a person of influence for Women's History Month, and has spoken at various professional events.
